Central Coast Art Classes
Join local artist Naomi Veitch for relaxed, private art classes or private painting lessons in her home studio on the New South Wales Central Coast. Surrounded by bush land with filtered water views and lots of natural light, this is the perfect location to learn to paint or draw.

Alternatively Naomi tutors group art classes at the Kariong Art Barn and the Ettalong Beach Arts and Craft Centre.
Private Art Lessons

Beginners to experienced
Private lessons are available as 1.5 hour or 2hr long sessions
​
Your classes are tailored to you and what you want to be able to achieve.
So if there is something in particular that you would like to improve, your lessons can focus on that.
You can work on enlargement techniques, colour mixing, making your paintings or drawings more realistic, or loose, brush strokes, how to use a certain medium or a bit of everything.
You are not locked into any classes so you can come once, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. The choice is yours.

Group Art Classes - Kariong

Group art classes for teenagers and adults, held at the Kariong Art Barn. Led by local artist Naomi Veitch, provide a dynamic environment for students to explore and refine their drawing and painting skills across various mediums.
​
The drawing classes cover a range of subjects such as enlargement and copying techniques, working from life, smooth rendering, different shading techniques and more. You will be introduced to various mediums such as pen, graphite, charcoal and more. You will work on your own personal projects in this class too with guidance and feedback from the instructor.
​
While the painting classes are open studio where participants will work on personal projects with guidance, feedback and demonstrations from the instructor. Work in oils, acrylics, or watercolour.
​
Catering to individuals at every skill level, from beginners eager to delve into the world of art to intermediate students seeking to enhance their techniques, the classes foster growth and creativity in a supportive atmosphere.
​
To maintain an optimal learning environment, class sizes are limited to a maximum of 10 students, ensuring each participant receives personalized attention and guidance. Students must be 12+ years old to enroll in the teen classes and 18+ to enrol in the adult classes.
Kariong Art Barn provides tables, chairs and tabletop drawing boards and easels while students are to bring their own art supplies. Drawing kits are also available for purchase.

Group Art Classes - Ettalong
Naomi tutors group art sessions at the Ettalong Beach Arts and Craft Centre, which offers an open studio setting where participants have the freedom to express themselves through various artistic mediums. Whether you prefer painting or drawing, you have the choice to work on your personal projects or participate in the scheduled lesson.

Tables, chairs, and easels are supplied for your convenience, but please be sure to bring your own art supplies and equipment. To maintain a conducive learning atmosphere, our class size is limited to a maximum of 8 students. Students must be 18+ years to participate in the classes.

Our primary goal is to cultivate an enjoyable, non-judgmental, and creatively inspiring environment where individuals of all skill levels and abilities can come together to share their passion for painting and drawing.
